Exact Flooring handles installation services in-house, we do not bid out the work to subcontractors. More often than not, one of our owners is out on the installation. We keep close tabs on all the work done under Exact Flooring’s name and accept nothing less than perfect. Our range of service extends to Hardeeville, New River Center, Bluffton and Hilton Head Island.

What to expect before the flooring installation
After the flooring ordered, it's time to prepare for the installation. Your sales associate will give you the details, but you can expect something along the following:

- Schedule to be at your home while the installation is going on; you may be needed to make some last minute decisions
- Clear the space of furniture, furnishings and appliances; if you have propane or natural gas appliances they need to be disconnected and reconnected by a professional
- Remove and dispose of old flooring
- Prep the sub-floor
- Arrange for children and pets be out of the installation and prep areas
- Clear an area close to the installation space for the installers to stage their work
- If materials that expand and contract are being installed, like hardwood flooring, it’s likely they’ll be delivered ahead of time to acclimate to your home

Flooring installation day
When an installation crew alights on your home, your daily schedule will be disrupted, it can’t be helped, but we are respectful of your space and if there is anything we can do for you, let us know.
Before the installation is started, the crew will go over the plan to double-check where seams and joins go, how any nap will lay, etc.
Once the installation is finished, you will be asked to walk through to check things out. If anything needs adjustment, it will be seen to immediately. We don’t consider your flooring installation complete until you are 100 percent satisfied.
